Running a site means endless things to fix, tweak, or figure out. Got a question or task that takes 30 minutes or less? That’s exactly what Quick Support Requests are for. Things like plugin hiccups, style fixes, tracking code problems, and more — all at no extra charge.

With five requests included every month on the Inner Peace plan and an unlimited amount on the Zen Master plan, you can ask for our expert help on almost anything.

(Fun fact: We introduced the Quick Support Request over a decade ago, back when everyone else was billing hourly.)

How we handle WordPress support requests

Quick Fixes

Quick Support Requests are perfect for small tasks like adjusting a setting, fixing a display issue, troubleshooting an error message, or helping you safely enable a feature.

Troubleshooting

When something’s off but you’re not sure why, we dig in. That includes plugin conflicts, odd errors in wp‑admin, “why does this look wrong on mobile?” moments, and other weirdness that shows up on a site.

Resolution-focused

If a request goes beyond a quick fix, we won’t leave you with a dead end. We’ll handle what we can, map out the clearest next step, and collaborate directly with your developer or team to get it across the finish line.

Knowledge base + documented answers

When we see recurring patterns, we document them. That means faster answers for everyone since we’re not starting from scratch every time the same kind of issue pops up.

Continuity you can count on

On any given request, you’ll usually work with the same team member — so you don’t have to re-explain yourself every time.

The NerdPress community

We maintain a private online community where you can compare notes with other site owners, ask general questions, and get context from the NerdPress team.

What qualifies as “Quick Support”?

Quick Support is really anything you might need that we can fix in 30 minutes or less. And honestly, because we’ve been at this for a long time, we’ve gotten really good at getting a lot done quickly. Here’s a non-exhaustive list of recent Quick Support items we’ve accomplished for our clients:

  • Fix broken forms.
  • Add or repair Google Analytics / GA4 tracking code.
  • Troubleshoot plugins that suddenly stop working.
  • Recommend the right plugin for a specific need.
  • Fix redirects, broken links, and redirect chains.
  • Update internal links so they point directly to the final URL.
  • Replace or resize sidebar images.
  • Fix broken or misaligned images.
  • Add, move, or adjust sidebar widgets.
  • Help point a vanity URL or domain to the right site.
  • Change font sizes, colors, headings, or small CSS styling issues.
  • Fix WordPress notification emails that are not sending.
  • Give hosting or server-scaling advice.
  • Apply noindex to expired or low-value content after an SEO audit.
  • Install or configure spam-prevention tools.
  • Upload fallback social sharing images in Yoast SEO.
  • Fix plugin errors after a migration or hosting issue.
  • Restore a deleted file or roll back from backups.
  • Scan for malware or suspicious code.
Harden site security after a problem is found.
  • Configure caching / optimization plugins for speed.
  • Tune Cloudflare, CDN, or firewall settings.
  • Optimize images with tools like ShortPixel.
  • Clean up database cruft or run optimization tools.
  • Set up uptime monitoring or downtime notifications.
  • Explain technical problems in plain English so the client knows what changed.

Our goal is to help keep you moving with fast responses, plain-language explanations of what happened and what we changed, and a team that sees enough different sites to spot patterns you might not.

Our plans are for owners and small teams whose sites carry the weight of leads, sales, ad revenue, donations, or press. You may not need a full-time developer on call, but you do want someone you can reach when things get weird.

Here’s how Elise Bauer at SimplyRecipes described the value she gets from our Quick Support:

Things you might be wondering (aka: FAQs)

How fast do you respond?

Urgent issues — like downtime, hacking concerns, or major functionality problems — jump to the front of the line and get a fast acknowledgment. Other requests are handled as quickly as we can based on your plan and the current queue.

What counts as a Quick Support Request?

On Inner Peace and Zen Master, Quick Support Requests are small, well‑defined tasks that can be handled within a set window of time, like minor layout repairs, fixing a specific error, adjusting settings, or helping you safely turn a feature on or off. When something is larger, more open‑ended, or risky to rush, we’ll be upfront that it needs project‑level work.

Where do I contact you with a Quick Support Request?

Through our email‑based support desk. Everything goes through that one channel so conversations stay threaded and easy to follow. Enterprise clients also have the option to join us in a Slack channel for even faster access.

What if my request is out of scope?

We’ll tell you directly when something falls outside your plan and point you to other options, whether that’s quoting a project, looping in your developer, or connecting you with someone who specializes in the service you need. We’ll help you choose the path that makes sense, and you’ll get a clear recommendation.
