Recipe cards, internal links, and redirects

What’s new with the Guided Agent Connector · October 29, 2026

Three releases this week! The NerdPress Guided Agent Connector can now work inside your recipe cards, help you link your posts together, and manage your redirects.

Work right inside your recipe cards

If you use WP Recipe Maker, your agent can now read a recipe card and change its ingredients, instructions, times, servings, or nutrition, or create a new card for a post. It can add unit conversions like “9 oz (250 g)” and link each step to the ingredients and equipment it uses. Changes are saved through WP Recipe Maker itself, and you can undo them.

Double-check a recipe

Quick

Start with · Check

Read the recipe card in “[post title]” and check the ingredient amounts against the instructions. Tell me anything that doesn’t match. Don’t change anything yet.

Then · Change

Add metric conversions to the ingredients, like “9 oz (250 g)”, and show me the card when you’re done.

Find posts that need more internal links

Your agent can now find the posts on your site with the fewest links pointing to them, and add links to them from your other posts.

Link up your older posts

Half-day

Start with · Check

Find five of my posts with the fewest internal links pointing to them, and suggest two other posts that could link to each one. Don’t change anything yet.

Then · Change

Add the links I approve, and keep each post’s “last updated” date the same.

Manage your redirects

If you use Yoast SEO Premium or the Redirection plugin, your agent can now look up, add, change, and remove redirects.

Check your redirects

Quick

Check

List the redirects on my site and flag any that point to a page that no longer exists. Don’t change anything.

Undo the oops

Accidentally changed the “last updated” dates on a batch of posts? Your agent can now put the earlier dates back without undoing the edits themselves. And if you change one of Yoast SEO’s site-wide settings, like turning sitemaps or schema on or off, that can be undone now, too.

Put the dates back

Quick

Change

The “last updated” dates on the posts you edited today changed, and I didn’t want that. Put the earlier dates back without undoing the edits.

Also this week

  • Backups with WPvivid. If your site uses WPvivid, your agent can check when your last backup ran and start a new one before a big job.
  • Product images in alt text checks. WooCommerce product images are now included when your agent checks your alt text.
  • Fewer interruptions for small jobs. Tagging a couple of posts or adding a link or two no longer stops to ask for your approval. Bigger batches still do.
  • Fewer surprise permission requests. Reading information from some other plugins no longer asks for the Delete permission, and when something does need it, your agent explains why.
  • Two new NerdPress procedures for your agent to follow.

The week in numbers
